Mati Bachao Abhiyaan (Save Soil Campaign)

Go Organic Go Green

Soil has nourished us since our evolution. Soil health is the key for organic agriculture and sustainability. Chemicals have contaminated our entire food chain and are destroying our mother’s (soil) health and health concerns are rising more and more, day by day. Organic is the solution. Food, Fruit and Fodder can only be of good quality and free from toxic chemicals only if our soil is healthy. In today’s world where severe health concerns are rising, only high-quality organic food can protect humans from various diseases. If we care about our health only then we can make ‘‘Swasth Bharat - Swasth Visva’’.

Organic products reduce public health risks to farm workers, their families, and consumers by minimizing their exposure to toxic and persistent chemicals on the farm and in food, the soil in which they work and play, the air they breathe, nd the water they drink. Children are especially vulnerable to pesticides. Thus, offering organic food and fiber products into the marketplace gives parents the option of choosing products produced without the use of these toxins. Not only does organic production help reduce public health risks, mounting evidence shows that food grown organically are rich in nutrients, such as Vitamin C, iron, magnesium, and phosphorus, with less exposure to nitrates and pesticide residues in organically grown fruits, vegetables, and grains when compared to conventionally grown products.
